Í fyrradag voru nemendur frá háskólanum í Wisconsin að lesa á mælitæki úti í Mývatni. Tækið er síriti sem skráir magn blágrænna baktería („leirlos“) í vatninu ásamt súrefni, leiðni og gruggi. Ætlunin er að hafa tækið í vatninu næstu árin.
The day before yesterday students from the University of Wisconsin were attending a device in the lake Myvatn which continuously registers dissolved oxygen, cyanobacteria density, turbidity and conductivity in the lake water.
